Many years as an actor at the “Kinder und Jugendtheater” in Frankfurt had a big influence to his life. Margarete Backhaus, leader of this theatre, taught him acting, singing and dancing. Further years at the “Stage and Musical School” in his hometown completed his education.
He worked several years at the Frankfurter Volkstheater and was engaged for more than five years for a theatre-tour throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Nowadays Stephen is not only known as an actor but as a singer as well. He started out in 1995 with Shows, covering 80ies and 90ies classics, which he called “Stolen Diamonds”, the name he gave to his band project 10 years later. His huge repertoire includes more than a thousand hits out of the top 10 of the past thirty years.
